Bryony Cottage This attractive cottage accommodation is in the old part of Ambleside, in a slightly elevated position above the town centre, giving views across the town to Loughrigg fell.

A quiet and almost traffic-free part of the town, this is a conservation area with many historic and characterful buildings.

Bryony Cottage is Grade II listed. It is warm, cosy and has modern fixtures and appliances without losing its traditional character.

There are several public parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the cottage and private parking for one car fairly close by. A neat patio area is situated at the rear of the property providing a true sun trap (favourable weather conditions permitting!) The property is locally owned and maintained by the owners. Secure storage space is available.
The interior of the cottage is tastefully furnished in traditional cottage style, with many attractive personal touches, providing comfortable accommodation for 2/3 people. The accommodation comprises living room with flat screen TV & DVD player, dining table, gas coal-effect fire, compact breakfast kitchen with electric cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave.
A doorway leads from the kitchen area into a spacious cellar suitable for hanging walking gear etc. An enclosed staircase leads upstairs to two bedrooms (one super king zip-linked bedded room – bed can be unzipped to create 2 singles if required, and one small double with 4ft wide bed) and bathroom with the usual loo, washbasin and small bath with shower over. There is also an additional external loo for emergencies!
There is full central heating and a gas fire. Cooking is by electricity. Bed linen is included but please bring your own towels.
