The society meets weekly throughout the year. During the winter there is a varied programme of practical evenings, demonstrations, lectures and constructive criticisms, held at Ambleside Parish Centre.

In summer we arrange outdoor sketching and painting venues.

New members are welcome. Anyone living within a 10 mile radius of Ambleside can join, regardless of ability. The yearly subscription is £15.

For details please contact either Don Bastow (secretary) 015394 47795 or
David Smith (Treasurer) 014394 33800
Each October we hold an exhibition, normally in the Parish Centre where each member may submit up to six works. All members are guaranteed to have something hung
