| Opened in June 2000 this deluxe hostel is superbly situated on a farm right at the heart of the Lakes. Chill out here, see the best of Lakeland right from our doorstep. Take the Wordsworth walk around Grasmere and Rydal. Or do a mountain classic; climb Helvellyn or Fairfield right from our door. The coast to coast footpath goes right through the farm. Push yourself to the limit on lots of outdoor pursuits or relax here in this beautiful valley. | |
 | The hostel has 5 bedrooms (sleeping from 3 to 6) some of which are ensuite with free hot showers, fully made up adult sized bunk beds, lockers, bedside lights, coin operated sauna and commercial laundry, drying room, 2 self catering kitchens with microwaves, fridges, toasters, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery etc. . . and dining room. There is also a stunning studio/common room with a large TV. Cleanliness and friendliness assured. Individuals, families and groups welcome but please note we cannot take school parties in summer. Good bar meals are available just down the road. |
