Rydal, near AmblesideBed & Breakfast
Set in its own 4 acres of private grounds overlooking Rydal Water, Cote How is an historic house, parts dating from medieval times. A timber framed section features a spinning gallery

Peacefully located but easy to find, the house offers an interesting and ideal getaway in the centre of the Lake District. From the door there are some of the most popular walks in the locality, easy or more serious.
In the breakfast room we cater for all diets using local organically produced foods wherever possible, providing full Lakeland or vegetarian fare.

In addition, on most weekends during the day we serve teas and snacks offering homemade cakes, scones, panini and soups.
