Easedale Lodge is a traditional, Victorian Lakeland stone house and retains many original features, from the antique tiled floor in the entrance hall to the imposing sitting room fireplace. Centrally located in the Ambleside village conservation area, the Lodge has wonderful open views and aspects yet is within a couple of minute’s walk of all village amenities. It is ideally located for ease of access, being very close to main bus stops and just off the main route linking North and South Lakes areas. The peaceful, elegant guest lounge offers comfortable sofas with an open view of the parkland and fells in front of the Lodge or a cosy seat by the marble fireplace. The decor throughout the Lodge is very tasteful with a unique range of pictures, mirrors and ornaments, mostly depicting local scenes and made by local artists and craftsmen and women.
A hearty full English breakfast is served in our beautiful conservatory dining room with plenty of healthy options. We cook all our fresh food to order using locally sourced food products.
All Easedale Lodge bedrooms are beautifully appointed double rooms, each have their own individual decor incorporating feature Lakeland slate furniture, sumptuous soft furnishings, comfortable beds and crisp white bed linen. A hospitality tray is well stocked with ‘Fair Trade’ products and each room has remote control digital TV, hairdryer, radio alarm clock and free Wi-Fi. The pristine shower rooms all have powerful showers and a range of natural, biodegradeable skin products made locally by ‘Pure Lakes’. The Lodge offers the reassurance of ample, free car parking for all guest vehicles, with level access straight off the main road. Many of our guests park their car on arrival and don't move it again until they leave - such is the ease of access from the Lodge to all local amenities, public transport, walks and sights.
