Far Nook is a detached Lakeland stone property on the Northern fringe of Ambleside, but within 5 minutes walk of the town centre facilities. A warm and friendly welcome awaits all our guests in a relaxing and comfortable environment.
We have been awarded a Four Star Rating plus a Gold Award which reflects how our accommodation and facilities are arranged with our guests comfort in mind.
On the day of your arrival, if you arrive between 3pm and 5.30pm, we will be pleased to welcome you by serving tea or coffee and homemade cakes in the dining room, or the garden, weather permitting!

 We will serve you a hearty breakfast in our delightful dining room to fortify you for your day's exploration of the Lakes, whether it be walking, cycling or touring the many attractions that the Lake District offers. Far Nook has a lovely garden that changes with the seasons, which all our guests are welcome to sit and relax in and enjoy during their stay with us. We have private parking which is ideal for leaving your car behind and exploring many of the scenic walks that can begin from our doorstep. Alternatively there is public transport bus stops (North & South) approx 300 yards away. |

| We have three lovely bedrooms which are all centrally heated, a king size bedded room with en suite bathroom, a twin bedded room with en suite bathroom and a double bedded room which has a nearby private bathroom (bathrobes are supplied in this bedroom). Each of the bathrooms is well equipped with the benefit of a bath with thermostatically controlled power shower over to give our guests the choice of a relaxing fragrant soak in a bath or an invigorating shower |

We regret we do not have facilities to accommodate guests' pets or children.
We are a totally non smoking establishment and this applies to all of the house and grounds.
Prices range from £33.00 to £38.00 per person per night, based on two people sharing a double room. Single occupancy of a double room is available for an additional supplement.
