Kingswood is situated in a central but quiet position, two or three minutes walk from all Ambleside's amenities. The house is traditionally built, modernised, centrally heated, well appointed and furnished and decorated to a very high standard. There is adequate private parking and bike storage.
Our five rooms provide comfortably furnished en suite accommodation for your visit to The Lakes. There are two double/twin rooms, two double rooms (one on the ground floor) and a single, also on the ground floor, all having their own individuality, with complimentary tea tray, colour TV and DVD (Video in the single) and a selection of films for most tastes. A chiller cabinet on the landing is available for you to cool your own drinks.

We serve a full English Breakfast using local produce, grilled for the healthy option, complimented with home made marmalade and honey from our own bees! Vegetarian options are available as well as any other dietary requirements.

Kingswood Bee & Bee is a little different, being beekeepers our guest house and home has many interesting items relating to bees. In season we may have some honey for you to take away. Open all year, including Christmas and New Year, with special breaks for Valentines, Easter etc.

David and Christine hope to provide you with a warm and friendly welcome, making your stay in Ambleside relaxing and enjoyable. There are walks 'from the door' and written guides to help you stay on track. Bike storage is available and ample parking for all guests.There is all you need for a comfortable stay and we will do all we can to make it a happy one.
