	Eileen and Peter Johnston welcome you to the Old School House. In its own grounds on the edge of lovely Hawkshead village, this historic house dating from 1705 offers traditional Lakeland hospitality in comfortable and spacious style. Furnished and decorated to a very high standard, the house offers quality accommodation at reasonable prices. The house is open from February to November.
Full English breakfast is served, using organic produce from local sources where possible and there are light and vegetarian alternatives available.
There are four double bedded rooms and one twin. All have en-suite or private bath/shower rooms and are fully equipped for your comfort. There is ample private parking.

Children are welcome, also dogs. The house is strictly no smoking.
