Town Head Cottage, built in 1688, is a delightful farm cottage which sleeps 6. It is part of the Town Head Farm buildings, situated north of Grasmere village off Dunmail Raise, with superb uninterrupted views of Grasmere valley and the surrounding fells. The accommodation has all modern amenities but retains its essential period character, with beamed ceilings and traditional furnishings.

The spacious lounge has a open-range working real fire, with TV, DVD player, 3 piece suite and a selection of books and games. Bedrooms consist of 2 twin-bedded rooms and one double. The luxurious ground floor bathroom has a new suite with separate bath and shower and underfloor heating.

The large modern kitchen/dining room has an electric cooker, microwave, washing machine with dryer, a fridge with freezer compartment. Outdoors there is ample parking, garden furniture and bike storage.

Tariff from £370 per week according to season.
All linen and towels are provided. Heating is by electric storage heaters throughout and an initial supply of coal and logs is provided.

Weekly bookings from Saturday to Saturday.
