This attractive house is set on the edge of the town, about 8 minutes walk from the centre on a lane giving open access to the fells. The elevated position gives fine views across the valley to Loughrigg fell. From the house you can choose easy or serious walks right from our doorstep. There is adequate private parking and hardly any traffic.
The house is very peaceful, welcoming and comfortable, with spacious rooms, well equipped and furnished and decorated to a high standard throughout.
Good local produce is used to provide a plentiful traditional breakfast. Locally reared hens normally provide us with tasty free-range eggs for breakfast. There are also lighter or vegetarian alternatives.
There are three en-suite double rooms, two on the first floor and one on the ground floor. All have very good bathrooms, television, tea trays and plenty of little extra touches to make you feel welcome.
TERMS
1 to 3 nights - £35.00 per person per night sharing double room
4 to 7 nights - £32.50.

We are open all year.

Wynford is a No Smoking house and we regret we do not cater for children
