| FORUM NEWSLETTER 2010 |
Neighbourhood Forums are organised by the County Council to provide an opportunity for you to get involved in issues affecting your area, and to get information about local services. How could things be improved? You can talk to decision makers and local residents, and raise your own ideas for community improvement.
Lakes Neighbourhood Forum holds regular meetings where local people can suggest issues for discussion. The local county councillor usually chairs these informal meetings and ensures that vital matters are reported back to Local Committees or the District Council so that the necessary actions can be taken.
If you have an item for future agendas, please call Gae Hicks on 01539 713419 or e-mail gae.hicks@cumbriacc.gov.uk. The Lakes Neighbourhood Forum covers Lakes Parish Council area. |
