There is private parking within the grounds and safe storage for bikes. There are seven bedrooms – three doubles (one on ground floor), two twins, one single and one family room. All rooms are en-suite, except one twin room which has its own private bathroom. Rooms are fully equipped with TV, radio, hairdryers and hospitality trays. CROW HOW COUNTRY HOUSE Town outskirts Just outside Ambleside on the Rydal Road, Crow How Country House is peacefully set in its own beautiful grounds, alongside Rydal Farm. Nestling in a stunning rural setting in the historic Rydal Valley this grand Victorian building was built as a farm house in 1848 from the stones of ancient Rydal Hall, before being converted into a Country House Hotel in the early 1930’s. The house offers quality Bed & Breakfast accommodation in spacious surroundings. The house is open all year. Nine rooms are available – 8 doubles and one twin/triple, all with good views of the surrounding valley and fells. All bedrooms have en suite facilities, colour televisions and hospitality trays. Most are en-suite, the rest having separate but private bathrooms. Views vary, some rooms with town views, others over parkland to mountains. Rooms are priced accordingly.
