A parking permit is available for the main car park, about 100 yards away. It is open all year, with weekly bookings from Saturday to Saturday; short breaks may be available during quiet periods.

Each cottage sleeps up to 5 people in 3 bedrooms (a double, a twin and a single). Each cottage commands spectacular views of the river, Stock Ghyll, and residents have private access.

It’s surrounded by gardens, woodland and pasture, with views of the mountains above Ambleside. 150 yards from public roads and 1 mile from historic Hawkshead, it’s the only let property on our 5-acre farm.|
