Fernleigh is a terraced house in traditional Lakeland stone on three floors, situated in a quiet street yet in the centre of Ambleside and just a step from all amenities. It has recently been extensively refurbished throughout and no expense has been spared in creating a holiday house of a high and luxurious standard.

There is private parking for one car in the unadopted road outside, plus parking by permit (one supplied) in the adjoining street.

The house is open all year, has full central heating and there is a small furnished patio area at the rear for al fresco eating. Children are welcome, also pets by prior arrangement.Downstairs there is a spacious lounge with wood burning stove, TV and DVD player, a separate dining room (also with TV) and adjoining kitchen, with access to the patio. The kitchen is fully fitted with granite work topped units, dishwasher and fridge amongst the many appliances.

On a half landing above is a utility room with washing machine and drier together with a further fridge and freezer, also a sink and cupboard space.

The large master bedroom on the first floor is fully en suite, with floor to ceiling wardrobe mirror. The bathroom is luxurious, fully tiled, with slipper bath and separate shower. On the second floor there is another king size double room and a single room
