Field Cottage is part of a typical Lakeland stone cottage, situated near Pull Wyke on the Hawkshead road about 2 miles from Ambleside. It is near the famous Drunken Duck pub/restaurant and not far from Tarn Hows. Walks and bike rides are available from the door. There is wi-fi, ample car parking and safe bike storage. The cottage is available all year.

The cottage retains original features with beams and flag floors. There is a wood burner (initial fuel supplied) and gas central heating. The lounge/dining room has TV/DVD, deep leather sofas around a log burning stove (initial fuel provided). In the kitchen there are Lakeland slate worktops incorporating electric oven and gas hob, fridge, dishwasher, washing/dryer, microwave and all crockery and utensils you need.
Upstairs is a double room, a twin room with 2ft6in beds and the bathroom with wc, shower over bath and wash basin. All bed linen and towels are supplied.
Weekly rates are £430-700 according to season. The cottage is available all year. Changeover day is Friday. Short breaks may be available.
