Objectives and Aims of the Trust

Ambleside Civic Trust has four important objectives outlined in its Constitution.

These are:
1. To protect, preserve and stimulate public interest in the areas covered by the Parish of Ambleside.
2. To promote high standards of town planning and architecture in the area.
3. To secure the preservation, conservation, development and improvement of features of general public amenity, historic and public interest in the area.
4. To be non-political, non-sectarian and non profit making.

The Future of the Trust

After a period of extreme uncertainty, we are pleased to say that a number of people have volunteered their help, and the trust does not need to close. You can find the new committee at Officials & Contact.
