Sheila’s Cottage is a splendid licensed restaurant tucked away down a narrow lane called The Slack in the centre of Ambleside. Behind the rough stone façade there’s old world charm aplenty which has been extended and embellished with modern lighting, air-conditioning and cottage style furnishings.
